Introduction Fall 2009

Welcome to the UVU Teaching Academy on Learner-Centered Teaching. I am Dr. Suzy Cox and will be the facilitator for Section 1 of the Teaching Academy this year. After six years of study and instruction in Educational Psychology, I am very excited to share the principles and methods of learner-centered teaching with you. After last week's survey of the dimensions of learner-centered teaching, we will build the TA syllabus based on your suggestions and begin instruction during our second session. We are excited to have full sections this semester and are very much looking forward to working with all of you!
